I attended the first two classes at the British Council in Delhi. There are twelve students attending the B1 Intermediate course. I was super excited to be here and improve my English to the next level. The classes are happening on weekends and one class is of three hours. I really love the way we spend these three hours. We do various activities to understand the topics. First we discuss the meaning of it by talking about it in detail and then we do some fun activity like play a game or do some dialogue drama etc. Then we also work in groups and discuss the topics. I learned about modals and how to use them in our daily life. Then we also check if everyone has understood the topic or not by answering the questions individually and doing some activities. We do thirty percent writing exercises and seventy percent of speaking.
I am attending this course to do well in my exams and this will make me better at English. I am very lucky to be a member of the Barefoot Team! And I am extremely thankful to all the supporters for their love and support. I am also attending online classes of economics and business studies. I will also be giving skateboarding sessions twice a week at Prakriti. Beside this, I will be doing BSO’s communication between our supporters and the team to keep the activities running in the village. I will also be taking an online session with the Janwaar kids.
